Children’s Department
The Paediatric Service of the Medical Centre has been established in November 2003 after opening of the children’s department having 30 beds. This department has 11 rooms.
The head of the department is the experienced paediatrician of the 1st category Mrs. S. Muldasheva, the responsible for newborns is the neonatologist of the higher category Mrs. K. Mergenbayeva.
The children’s department is multilevel. It receives children from first days of life up to schoolchildren.
The wide range of medical services includes almost all paediatric disciplines: neonatology, minor childhood, gastroenterology, pulmonology, cardiology, nephrology, haematology, and endocrinology.
All existing tools and forces are used to provide children’s diagnostics and medical services in the Medical Centre including invasive tools, such as endoscopy, CT, neurophysiologic methods of studies etc. All equipment delivered to the Medical Centre is adapted to children’s requirements.
In order to improve patient’s life quality department’s payroll includes form-teacher and children nurse who cares of children, arranges their medical exercises and treatment, leisure time, school tasks, children’s matinees and any other actions. The permanent exhibition of children’s painting and handicraft is also arranged for them.
