Our Physiological Therapy Department is one of the best ones compared to similar departments in Kazakhstan with regard to standards, construction norms, location, equipment and qualification of medical personnel.
The basic equipment is analogous to equipment installed in resorts of Carlsbad. This equipment’s feature is the available microcomputer programmes to select individual approach to each patient depending on diagnosis, stage of disease development and individual features. The personnel training had been conducted by Czech specialists. During medical and rehabilitation process we also use equipment from Russia, Italy, Japan and Switzerland.
The head of the department is the experienced physiotherapist Mrs. Maria Tlepova.
This department provides following basic types of physiological therapy:

Electro-therapy: galvanisation, electrophoresis, diadynamotherapy, amplipulse therapy, percutaneous electric neuro-stimulation, interference therapy etc;

Phototherapy: UVI, IRI, laser therapy (ILBI, venous, local), magnet-laser therapy, solarium;

Thermotherapy: paraffin therapy, tourmaline mat with three heating stages, local thermotherapy sources;

Hydrotherapy: underwater massage, therapy baths – turpentine, medicated, iodine-brome baths, balmy baths with aromatic oils, half-baths;

Ultrasound therapy;

Magnet therapy;

EHF-therapy;

Nebulizer therapy using bronchial spasmolytics, mucolytics, hormonal agents;

Dry skeleton extension (horizontal and vertical);

Various kinds of manual medical massage, special purposed massage;

Therapeutic exercises including individual and group exercises, morning hygienic exercises, breathing gymnastics by Strelnikova, as well as various kinds of gymnastics (basically articular) using video recording;

Peroral oxygen-therapy as oxygen cocktails;

Herbal therapy
The department’s services are provided for all patients in clinic including outpatients.
The medical treatment process uses various kinds of massage; we have well equipped hall for exercise therapy, where patients can also use exercise equipment for rehabilitation.
In order to protect against unfavourable environment impact we had introduced rooms for oxygen therapy (oxygen cocktails) and herbal therapy.
Each day we carry out over 300 medical procedures.
