Radiology diagnostics department of the Medical Centre is one of the largest departments in central Kazakhstan. The milestone event in history of radiology diagnostics department was opening of CT-diagnostic room on 2006 and invitation of European CT-diagnostic specialists. They trained our specialists and laboratory staff next 2 years with regard to techniques and methods of computer tomography. This training was a single event in Kazakhstan. The result of this cooperation was CT-diagnostics quality compliance with European standards that was confirmed many times by our colleagues from Freiburg University Clinic. Such high level of CT-diagnostics is required to implement our new project Telemedicine that gives an opportunity to have a second conclusion by professors from Freiburg University Clinic to confirm our analyses and investigations.
The head of this department is the radiologist Mr. Victor Glushko.
Our department consists of following rooms:
- X-ray diagnostics room;
- CT diagnostics room;
- Mammography room;
- Fluorography room (with relevant records kept and filed)
Radiology diagnostics department is equipped with up-to-date X-ray diagnostic equipment Siemens that allows conduct a wide range of modern X-ray diagnostic studies and analyses with significantly decreased radiological load on patients (decreased radiation during investigation)

- X-ray diagnostic complex ICONOS R-200 – multifunctional analog-digital X-ray diagnostic apparatus;
- Multispiral computer tomography SOMATOM Sensation 64
- Mammography apparatus Mammomat 3000 Nova;
- Mobile X-ray apparatus POLYMOBIL PLUS – used to conduct X-ray analyses during operations and in other cases;
- Mobile X-ray system with S-arch ARCADIS Varic – which is required for neurosurgical and endoscopic manipulations.
Within the frame of the project Telemedicine any person could have medical conclusion with “second opinion” of the specialists from Freiburg University Clinic with regard to sent from Medical Centre via tele-tunnel XR-pictures and CT-pictures.
The service cost is 165 Euro, excluding the cost of translation of the text.
